What is Paint Orlando Blue?
Each April, The Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families "paints" Orlando blue in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Our annual Paint Orlando Blue campaign incorporates blue pinwheels - the nationally recognized symbol and color for the cause - into a month long advocacy effort.
Throughout the month, our team aligns with dedicated volunteers and partners in the community to raise awareness and critical funds to support programs which identify, treat and prevent child abuse. We do this by "going blue" in all we do. From pinwheel gardens designed to generate awareness, to 'blue' jeans days at the office to generate funds - creativity is encouraged!
This year's Paint Orlando Blue campaign was a great success! If you would like more information about The Howard Phillips Center, or, want to learn more about joining our efforts for 2018, please email PaintOrlandoBlue@orlandohealth.com.
